Mrs. Jinkins
About Me

Hello! I am Mrs. Jinkins, the 6-12 CAVE Science Teacher. My path to teaching hasn't been a direct path but I am so glad that I ended up here. I originally went to college with the plans to enter the medical field. I got my Associate Degree in General Sciences with an emphasis in Health Sciences from UW-Marathon County (now UWSP Wausau Campus) followed by my Bachelor Degree in Biology from UW-Stevens Point. After some substitute teaching, I decided that I no longer wanted to go into the medial field and made the decision to go back to school to become a teacher. While I was a substitute teacher, I attended UW-Oshkosh's act! Teacher Licensing Program and got my teaching licenses in Broadfield Science, Biology, and Chemistry. The year after finishing that program, I also added my math teaching license. In May of 2022, I finished the Master of Science in Education program from UW-Superior. This is my fifth year teaching with CAVE and my seventh year of teaching overall.
My husband, Brandon, and I live in central Wisconsin. We are kept busy by our three little kids. As a family, we love to spend time outside going for walks and going swimming. We are big Green Bay Packer and Milwaukee Brewers fans.

I look forward to getting to know all of you!
